Each Christmas, Oliver filled our home with laughter as he gleefully tore into presents, creating a merry chaos of torn wrapping paper. Despite his small stature, he left no gift unscathed. His mischievous antics brought joy, shifting the focus from the presents to the happiness he spread.

Oliver & Wednesday is a heartfelt pattern design collection inspired by cherished memories of beloved pets. From the playful antics of Oliver, a spirited mini dachshund, to the gentle presence of Wednesday, a sweet black cat, these patterns reflect the profound bond between humans and their furry companions.

After the loss of both pets within weeks of each other, I channeled my grief and love into creating this collection. Each design serves as a tribute to their unique personalities and the joy they brought into our lives, celebrating the deep and enduring connection we share with our pets.

Oliver rarely left the house, but he enjoyed (or at least tolerated) dog beach. Though he was the smallest and avoided other dogs, he loved walking on the sand and spending time with our family. This pattern is a tribute to those cherished moments.
